My name is Frederick Zerrovski and I am a big fan of poetry in New York City. I used to work with small time companies to publish poet authors, and it wasn’t nearly as opportunistic a business as it is today. This is largely because of the boom in the interest in poetry over the last few years. New websites have also sprung up, like Spoken Word NYC, that put old businesses like mine to shame. These guys do a very good job marketing to poets and getting people interested. The best part of it is that they are all joined together by a mutual interest in good poetry.
