The phonics reading program
This past Tuesday I went with my wife down to Turtleface elementary school to visit with our youngest daughter’s teacher. The teacher had called us in for a meeting after last weeks incident. Our daughter was involved in a fight and she was at fault. It turns out that one of the other kids in his class had made fun of her reading. After talking about this unfortunate incident the teacher started talking about some positive things. She said she has recommended a phonics reading program to some of the other parents in the classroom. She said the program really helps out some of the kids.
