Car Accident Caused by Semi Tire Blowout
My husband and I were driving in the right lane when a semi-truck passed us in the left lane. One of the right side truck tires blew out and a piece of the rubber hit our windshield. My husband swerved to try to get out of the line of fire of more rubber pieces and our car flipped. The highway patrol who helped us at the pennsylvania car accident scene mentioned that semi-trucks have tires that blow out on a regular basis and is the cause of many accidents. We were injured but felt that a couple of broken bones were minor compared to what could have happened.
