Our Sister Nellie Got Sciatica
Our sister Nellie has always been the consummate big sister: She was the one who took care of us when we scraped up our knees. She took care of us when we got our first broken hearts, and even when we were brand new moms and scared out of our minds about how to care for our new babies. Nellie has just told us that she has got Sciatica. I know it must be bad because this woman is the last person in the world who ever voices a word of complaint. She just stated it matter of factly, but I feel so sad to hear this.
