Thinking About Buying a Second Home

Saturday, July 24th, 2010

I was surprised when my mom called me a couple of months ago to tell me that her and my dad were thinking about buying a property in Wapping. I knew they liked visiting Wapping, but I had know idea that they were thinking about buying a property there. When I asked my mom if she was going to sell the house she lives in now, she said she didn’t think they were going to sell it right away. She said that the house in Wapping would just be there second house, until they decided if they wanted to sell their current home.

Picking a Lender

Friday, July 23rd, 2010

There are lots of choices when looking for Phoenix mortgages. As a buyer with a good credit rating and a good down payment, take your time in picking a lender. It is important to shop around when getting your mortgage, but make sure that  you look not only at rates but the lender itself. In the world of bank closings and take overs, this can be a key to happy home buying and ownership. Today even sellers will look at the lending institution, because they are not willing to invest time and effort into a deal that may fall through. Check out your lender with places like the Better Business Bureau to make sure you are getting a solid institution.

Registered for LEED Training

Thursday, July 22nd, 2010

I found a location that offered the LEED training without having to follow through with certification. At this time, we only wanted to start learning the information without having the time commitment needed for certification. Both my husband and I registered so we could have a strong understanding of the information. One of us planned to be certified eventually, but we were not sure when that would happen. The entire process was daunting and we were both apprehensive once we got started in the process. We knew this was a step in the right direction if we wanted to continue with business properties.

Fun Stuff for the Kids

Monday, July 19th, 2010

My wife and I have been looking at tempe az apartments. We think we have found one that we would love to live at. Not only are there a bunch of on-site amenities, there are a bunch of places our kids would love within just a few miles. Game Crazy is less than a mile and a half away while Stratum Laser Tag is 6 1/2 miles away. They don’t even know it, but the Mystery Castle is only 11 1/2 miles away. Although they don’t want to make this move, they may change their mind once they find all of the fun stuff to do in our neighborhood. At least that is my hope.

I’ve Gone And Made A Mess

Wednesday, July 14th, 2010

Man, am I in a deep one this time. I was outside playing baseball the other day with my friends in this long stretch of grass just outside my house. As the pitcher, Brock, throws me his best heat, I smash it and it looks to be a solid home run. As I jog the bases, I notice that the ball went a lot further than it usually does: it was going past  the street and straight for the houses. Wait, was that my house!?  Afterwards, I got scolded by my mom. She’s always been proud of the windows in our house 134 Marion.

California Mortgage

Monday, July 12th, 2010

I live in Texas but has always dreamed of moving to Hollywood. I want to make it big and become an actor. I know that my dreams are set a little high, but so are the dreams of most people who move to Hollywood. I found a beautiful home for sale online right outside of Hollywood. Next I found a California Mortgage finance company and got pre approved for a home loan. I made the trip up to see the house in person, and made an offer. My offer was accepted right away, and the next thing I knew I was a homeowner living right outside Hollywood, CA!

My Husband’s Promotion

Wednesday, July 7th, 2010

My husband has been working for the same company for over fifteen years. He has steadily been moving up the career ladder and recently he was asked to become a partner. We were so thrilled and he starts his new position next week. My husband’s office is actually a lending institution and they are known as experts on Arizona mortgage rates. They have maintained a steady business even through the recession of the last few years. I am so proud of my husband on his new promotion to partner. I always knew he would make it to the top because he works so hard.

We’re Doing Pretty Well

Tuesday, July 6th, 2010

There are times that I feel sorry for some of my friends. My husband and I are able to live on one income and I get to stay home with our two children. We also are able to afford some of the little extras in life. My friends can’t all do that, they struggle financially. I think that the reason that my husband and I are doing pretty well is because we looked into Cheap Home Loans when we bought our house. The mortgage is our biggest monthly expense, we made sure that we got a good deal. My friends weren’t all as lucky.
