Related job titles include, simulators, training center evaluators (TCE), instructors, air carrier, or executives. An aviation safety job usually requires at least 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to next lower grade level. Such positions require ability to collect and analyze written reports of accident investigation. FAA certification and knowledge of certificate holder program and procedure is also mandatory for most aviation safety jobs. Aviation safety positions command salaries ranging between $96,290 to $125,176 per year.
