An Answering Service Was The Solution To Our Situation

I am the nurse manager for a family practice clinic in a small town, and whenever we would have a day off during the week, the doctor would get inundated with calls at his home. We wanted to be able to take time off without worrying about taking phone calls, and one of our business advisers told us that answering services would eliminate the hassles of all the direct calls. We signed up for a service, and now they facilitate and route all of the patient and pharmacy calls that come in when we aren’t in the office. This is working well for us and our patients!
