Wednesday, June 30th, 2010Weightlifting is an important component for staying healthy. The more lean muscle mass you have more calories you will burn for every exercise and activity you partake in. Most people think that getting muscular will make them big and bulky, but this is definitely not the case for almost everyone who lives weights. Most people are not genetically built to carry large amounts of muscle mass, so you don’t need to really worry about bulking up. Another great benefit from me is that my insurer Blue Cross NC loves the fact that I try to maintain my health through weightlifting and nutrition. It’s a great way to keep in shape and stay healthy.
